Join me for an inspiring tour of a sustainable homestead, where self-sufficiency meets practicality.
We'll start with a tour of the various gardens around the homestead. Along the way you will learn about the crops being grown, the rain capture systems in use as well as the composting process we follow.
You'll then meet and interact with our many Nubian goats and chickens and gain an insight into our humane animal husbandry practices that provides us with fresh eggs, dairy, meat and manure.
Next we will head up the hill to tour the off-grid cabin that showcases a beautiful view over the entire homestead. While at the cabin you will hear about some handmade products that are made on the homestead. Things like Buckthorn spatulas, egg yolk goat milk soap, goat cheese, handmade pastas and various preserved vegetables.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced homesteader, this experience offers valuable knowledge and inspiration for creating a resilient, self-sufficient lifestyle.
