Drive to Burney Falls in the morning, the most beautiful waterfall in California! It will certainly bring you an unexpected big surprise! Even President Roosevelt describes Burney Falls as “The 8th Wonder of the World!” Drive to Sundial Bridge. Made of glass, the Sundial Bridge crosses above the Sacramental River, and is absolutely a piece of work of art. Return to Bay Area in the evening and finish our pleasant and unforgettable Ring of Fire National Parks and Amtrak Coast Starlight Trip. Itinerary: Medford → Burney Falls (Mandatory, 60 mins) → Sundial Bridge (30 mins) → San Francisco Kindly Reminder: If we cannot go to Burney Falls during the itinerary, we will go to Shasta Dam instead.

McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park

Burney Falls is a waterfall on Burney Creek, within McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, in Shasta County, California.The water comes from underground springs above and at the falls, which are 129 feet high, and provides an almost constant flow rate of 379 million litres per day, even during the dry summer months. The falls were declared a National Natural Landmark in December 1954. In March 2021, a National Geographic article declared the site to be one of "northern California’s most spectacular waterfalls".

Sundial Bridge

The Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay is a world-famous pedestrian bridge and public art installation that crosses the Sacramento River in Redding and connects the north and south campuses of Turtle Bay Exploration Park. As the name suggests, the Sundial Bridge is, in fact, a working sundial and is one of the largest in the world. The sundial shadow traces such a large arc that it can record only four hours a day, from 11am - 3pm. It is not accurate in winter because the shadow is too far into the arboretum to be seen. The bridge celebrates human creativity and ingenuity, important themes of the 300 acre Turtle Bay Exploration Park. The steel, glass, and granite span evokes a sense of weightlessness and the translucent, non-skid decking provides for spectacular viewing at night. The bridge is also environmentally sensitive to its river setting.

Depart from San Francisco Bay Area this morning, and head to the most famous wine country – Napa Valley. Enjoy the exclusive wine tasting tour! Drive-Thru Tree Park

What California icon is 2,400 years old and has cars driving through it every summer day? If you guessed the Chandelier Drive-Thru Tree in Leggett—an hour’s drive north of Willits and three hours from the San Francisco Bay Area—you know your redwoods. For more than 80 years, road-trippers have been capturing photos of their cars squeezing through the Chandelier Tree’s six-foot-wide and seven-foot-tall tunnel, which was carved into its trunk in 1937.

Drive through Redwood National and State Parks, the undeveloped 37-mile coastline within it is home to surging waves, bizarre rocks, wildlife, and surrounded by Giant Redwoods! Arrive at Crater Lake National Park in the afternoon, the Deepest Lake in America! The crater was formed by a volcanic eruption 7000 years ago and filled in with melting snow and rain water. The sapphire blue lake is simply magical and breathtaking, it’s one of the things you must see in your life! Stay overnight in the second largest City in State of Oregon, Eugene. Itinerary: Arcata → Coastline by US-101 → Cresent Beach (20 mins) → Redwood National and State Parks (Mandatory, 30 mins) → Crater Lake National Park (Mandatory, 120 mins) → Eugene Special Note: 1. Follow us and visit theWashington State Capitol Building in Olympia in the morning! In the afternonn, we will drive to Mt. Rainier National Park to have an in-depth tour. Mt. Rainier has endowed Seattle with elegance and beauty, a mountain out of fairytale and floating in the clouds. Everyone who has seen the beauty of it falls in love with it. Glaciers, waterfalls, lakes, rivers scatter throughout the rainforest. The rapids of streams and pouring waters echo through the valley! Mandatory Mount Rainier is circled by the Wonderland Trail and is covered by several glaciers and snowfields totaling some 35 square miles. Carbon Glacier is the largest glacier by volume in the contiguous United States, while Emmons Glacier is the largest glacier by area. About 1.8 million people visit Mount Rainier National Park each year. Mount Rainier is a popular peak for mountaineering with some 10,000 attempts per year with approximately 50% making it to the summit. Also, Mt. Rainier in WA is the tallest volcano of Mainland America, the 5th tallest mountain of the entire US territory. The mountain top is covered by snow all year round. When the snow melts, water flows down in large volume, which creates beautiful waterfalls and vast lakes, it also irrigates the forest land.

Today will be the end of our tour. In the morning, we will take a tour in Seattle and you are going to find the most amazing sights that this city has to offer! Seattle is a seaport city in Washington State! Many people believe it may be like the classical movie "Sleepless in Seattle;" but it is far from it! Explore a technological landmark known as the Space Needle! Then, we will back to Vancouver.
