My partner and I went on the secret foods tour and Ian was our tour guide. Ian was funny, knowledgable and overall an awesome tour guide. We live in Toronto, but we still learned so much that we did not know. I would recommend the tour and Ian! Also, the food was great!

Our guide, Katarina, was exceptional! The tour started on time and stayed to the schedule. Katarina was knowledgeable about the architecture and history of the city. She led us through the Market and pointed out numerous tidbits I would have never known on my own. The shop selections and food were authentic and delightful. The restaurant selections were spectacular variety of seafood, pizza, and beverages. Her knowledge was deep and she was lovely and made this tour the best spent money on my entire trip. Will do it again on my next visit for sure!

My friend and I took the Secret Food Tour of Toronto with Katerina Glam in September, while on a long weekend away from Chicago. We were the only ones booked that day, so it became a private food tour. Katarina was very informative, patient, and gracious. Even though we were the only ones on the tour, it never felt rushed, and we ended up taking the same amount of time as estimated on the website for a larger group. We also were provided at some locations the same amount of food as a standard 6-10 person group! In addition to linking the food we were eating to the establishment and then history of the city, Katarina also pointed out historical places that were also significant to the development of Toronto into Canada's primary city. The food was diverse and interesting and representative of different parts and eras of Toronto. I'd definitely recommend the tour for anyone looking for a hearty helping of local fare and a light history lesson as well.

We were a group of 4 for this food tour, it was a perfect moment to share with the family and our tour guide Katarina was an amazing and lovely leader for this tour, we enjoyed her presence and funny anecdotes all along the way. The food was great and the place authentic. I highly recommend this if you come visit Toronto !!

Katarina was an amazing guide - she was full of interesting information about the city and really knew the best spots to take us. I'd thoroughly recommend a tour with her and have told everyone to try a Secret Food Tour when they're next in a foreign city. I can't recommend the experience highly enough.

It’s been such a nice tour with our guide Kat! She was so welcoming and open, and made this experience a great one! Not only could we try some special food, we also got to see nice places and were told a little bit about their background. I would definitely recommend the tour!

I had done one food tour before this (which was a great experience), so I decided to try it in Toronto as well. It turned out to be my favorite part of the trip! Katarina shared so much insight into the section of Toronto we toured; so much more than I would have learned on my own. The food was wonderful and the company of Katarina and the other people on the tour was great since I was traveling alone! I hope to do a tour with her and with this company in the future!

Spent a wonderful few hours with Katarina who was warm, engaging and very knowledgable about the local history and food. The food choices were all delicious (we added the drinks package and were not disappointed). Katarina also gave us lots of tips and recommendations for the remainder of our visit to Toronto which was very helpful. Highly recommend this tour - just make sure you come hungry!!

We have done Secret food tour in both the Bahamas and New York and are never disappointed! Today we did Toronto in the St Lawerence Market area with Katrina! It could not have been more fabulous! Sun was shining, people milling about and food incredible! We had our two daughters with us 12 and 14, the 12 cannot stop talking about the duck pizza at Hot House!!!! It was so delicious we made reservations for when we are back in October!!!! The market was unbelievable as well, the pesmeal sandwich was second to none, the fried Halibut at the Market Catch was amazing! Katrina was incredibly knowledge about both the history of the area and current day events in the area, she gave us great tips for the remainder of our holiday! I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Katrina specifically! A fabulous tour guide is every bit as important as the food you are going to sample!!!! Also I recommend purchasing the alcohol package, nice having wine when you get to sit down in a restaurant and sample their finest!

My wife and I have discovered the best entry point into a new city is a food tour. You get history, introduction to neighborhoods and of course great food that also helps tell a cities story. Katarina was our guide and we appreciated her passion and her back story in different countries. This in many ways was what Toronto is about, a Serbian guide with a Danish couple & a US midwestern couple talking about Toronto culture, history and food. The Old Town location and history was a perfect setting, great tour.

This tour was really great. I learned all about Toronto (Go Raptors! The 6!) and had awesome food. Beer was really good too. Ashima is a rock star tour guide. I look forward to using this company again in the future.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed the tour. Katarina our guide was passionate about the food in Toronto and you could tell that she knew what she was about because she had worked in several restaurant's. We also got to know some facts about the Kensington market area and Toronto it self. The food we got to try was amazing and we would definitely recommend this tour the money is totally worth it.

The value of this package was well beyond the price tag. All the delicious food and locally brewed beers were worth what I paid alone, but you get so much more out of the tour than just the food. I couldn't have asked for a better guide than Ashima. She is a very sweet young lady that is obviously passionate about the culture Toronto has to offer. She knew so much history about all the places we visited and she was very good at keeping everyone in the group involved. She even went above and beyond to make sure we all knew some other good places to stop while we were in town. I will definitely look for these tours when I travel to other cities. Cheers!

We had an awesome time on the Secret Food Tour - Toronto with Katarina. Not only did we eat some incredibly tasty food, Katarina gave us a nice introduction to Toronto. She was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us some good tips on how to spend our remaining time in the city. The highlights of the food part of the tour was the fried halibut- ohh so good and the unique duck pizza. I have done walking tours in many cities and this was one of the better ones- highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the Food Tour. The Food tasted really good but our tour guide (Katharina) was even better. It was a very personalized tour and not just an average food tour. She did not just provide us great information about the food and the market. She also made our holiday in Toronto unforgettable by pointing out other highlights, which we visited afterwards. We would totally recommend to go on a food tour with Katharina

My friend and I were in Toronto this past weekend for the Flyers/Leafs game. We love to do a food tour in every city we go to and I'm so glad we did this here. Our guide Kat was incredible, by the end of the tour it felt like we were old friends spending time together hanging out drinking coffee. We got a lot of history and were able to experience a lot of Toronto even though we weren't there for an extended period of time, just a weekend. Kat also gave us so many great recommendations for great pubs to go to after the hockey game. I'll certainly be dreaming of the peameal bacon sandwich until I get back to Toronto! Another wonderful tour, I highly recommend it if you want to get a nice taste of Toronto foods (and do it at the beginning of your trip that way you know where to go back to for the rest of it!!)

My friend and I were in Toronto for only a couple of days & this was a great way to see the city in such a short time. Katarina was an awesome guide. She was friendly & knowledgeable and switched out one of the dishes for us when we told her we weren't fans of seafood. She gave us so much history about the market, pointed out historical buildings, & gave us tips on other restaurants and bars to check out during our time in Toronto. We've used secret food tours in a few cities around the world & have always had an awesome time & great food- this time was no different. We'll definitely be back to visit Toronto again thanks to Katarina!

We are local to Toronto, but wanted to celebrate our anniversary in a unique way. We found the secret food tour while searching for something to do in Toronto. We had such a good time on the tour with Ashima. She was friendly, attentive and timely. We laughed a lot, ate a lot and never felt like it was too long or too short. Our guide was so knowledgable about the city and various facts about the city, buildings and architecture, food and businesses. Ashima is engaging, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Everything that we ate tasted phenomenal. Our favourite was the Peameal Bacon sandwich topped with everything. The walk was easy and appropriate for any age group. We went as a couple but can see that our kids would have enjoyed it as well. The walk was easy and appropriate for any age group. My girlfriend and I took this tour in late January and despite it being freezing cold we had a fantastic time. Our host Ashima was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. For any tourists coming to Toronto and for local Torontonians, this is a great way to learn more about the city and the St Lawrence Market. Great food and service. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had an excellent three hour tour with Susan. She is extremely knowledgeable about Toronto history, buildings, architecture, and, especially, food. Great variety of very good food. The walking was easy, with the only steps being to the lower level at the St. Lawrence market.
