Winter Canyoning in the Rockies - Half Day

Our winter canyoning experience is the only adventure of its kind in the Canadian Rockies. Family friendly, and great for participants of all ages, young or old. We require only a moderate level of fitness for the approach hike up to the top of the canyon. Participants should be comfortable with hiking for approximately 60min, but don’t stress we take our time.

Never tried rappelling before, no problem! Our guides will teach you all the necessary skills, and our canyons are progressive in their nature. That means they start off easy and grow in length of rappels allowing you to grow your confidence as you descend.

Our canyoning experiences also incorporates stunning and off the beaten path locations, including a unique slot canyon experience.

The meeting point is the “McGillivray canyon trail head This parking lot is just off eastbound Highway 1 and just past Deadman’s Flats located approximately 5 - 10 min east of Canmore and 25 min east of Banff. Please arrive approximately 5 min prior to your trip time.
