Steep ancient rocks and a scenic views of Howe Sound. Lauded as one of the most gorgeous in the world, the Sea-to-Sky Highway is a drive to savour.
It is a small park, adjacent to the Stawamus Chief Provincial Park, it is home of the third highest waterfall in British Columbia. Originating from the alpine massif below Sky Pilot Mountain and the Stadium Glacier, Shannon Creek tumbles some 335m down, over granite cliffs, to the valley below. Have a small hike while being mesmerized by the waterfall and take some great clicks as well.

A 10 minute gondola ride will take you up to a truly magical place with some of the most spectacular views you will ever see and activities for all interests and ages. As you rise from the water’s edge on the valley floor, the view opens up before you: the bright blue water of Howe Sound, dotted with green islands and backed by the steep mountains of the Coast Range; the majestic Stawamus Chief; and a bird’s eye view of the town of Squamish with the rugged, snow-capped mountains to the north. You will arrive at the Summit Lodge where the experience continues. A popular spot for spectacular photos is the 100 metre Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge.

Situated on the most southerly fjord in North America, Porteau Cove Provincial Park features waterfront campsites with a view over Howe Sound to the mountains beyond. An old ship has been sunk to provide interest for scuba divers and to attract marine life. There are special facilities for divers. Adjacent train tracks are active and occasional noise disturbance may occur.

Cypress Mountain Viewpoint located on the second switchback of Cypress Bowl Road in West Vancouver is one of the best and most accessible places in Vancouver for panoramic views of the Lower Mainland. On a clear day, you can see across the Georgia Straight to Vancouver Island and southeast to Mount Baker in Washington State.
