Travelers will step into a true-to-life virtual cockpit and take control of a flight simulation experience designed for both beginners and aspiring pilots. Upon arrival, they'll receive a quick setup and orientation from staff, followed by a solo flight session guided by built-in virtual instruction.
Using realistic simulator hardware—yoke, throttle quadrant, rudder pedals, and switch panel—participants will learn the basics of aircraft control: takeoff, cruising, and landing. The default aircraft is a Cessna 172, but users can optionally explore other aircraft models.
Each session takes place inside a fully immersive VR environment, offering access to thousands of real-world airports, live weather data, and dynamic lighting for day or night flights. Travelers can fly over iconic cities, explore new landscapes, or practice navigation in realistic airspace conditions.
This is a hands-on, self-guided experience with staff support nearby as needed—perfect for those curious about aviation, considering flight school, or simply looking for a unique and educational activity in downtown Toronto.
