Ridge Ride 2-Hour Horseback Trail Ride in Kananaskis

Your Ridge Ride begins at Boundary Ranch in the heart of Kananaskis. After checking in at the Front Desk, meet your guide and get acquainted with your horse before setting out on the trail. This 2 hour horseback adventure takes you above the Kananaskis Valley, where you'll travel along a mountain ridge and enjoy breathtaking views across the surrounding landscape. As you continue along the trail, you'll descend through montane forest and wetland areas, offering a chance to experience several of the unique ecosystems found throughout Kananaskis. Keep your eyes open along the way. The area is home to a variety of wildlife and you may spot some of the local residents during your ride. Our professional trail guides will lead the way and share their knowledge of the area and the ranch along the journey. The Ridge Ride is suitable for both novice and experienced riders, and no previous horseback riding experience is required. Ride times are 9:30 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM. Please remember to bring your camera and dress appropriately for the weather. Please arrive at Boundary Ranch and check in at the Front Desk 30 minutes BEFORE your scheduled ride departure time.
