Emerald Lake and the Waterfalls of Yoho National Park
On the western border of Banff National Park on the Pacific side of the continental divide is British Columbia's Yoho National Park.
This Tour will take you to some of the most powerful and scenic waterfalls of the Canadian Rockies.
At 302 Meters (991 feet) Takakkaw Falls is over 5 times higher then Niagara!
Equally as scenic is the drive to the falls up the steep and winding Yoho Valley Road.
After visiting Takakkaw Falls you will then travel to Natural Bridge and the Iconic Emerald Lake.
After a lunch break in the small mountain town of Field, BC we will then travel to the powerful Wapta Falls on the Kicking Horse River.
This 4.8 km hike is well worth and takes you to the base of the falls. With water flow at 9,000 cubic meters per second these roaring falls are a must see when visiting the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
