Emerald Lake
Located in the center of Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake's vivid emerald color is derived from tiny glacial debris particles called rock flour. This lake is unique because of its gorgeous green water.
In winter, It is impossible to describe the verdant surroundings and snow-capped Rockies as a backdrop. The lake was largely frozen in ice, and the landscape was blanketed in untouched snow.
