Moraine Lake
Moraine Lake is one of the most iconic and breathtaking destinations in the Canadian Rockies, located in Banff National Park. Surrounded by the majestic Valley of the Ten Peaks, this glacier-fed lake is famous for its vibrant turquoise-blue water, which gets its stunning color from rock flour carried by glacial runoff. Set at an elevation of about 1,885 meters (6,183 feet), the lake offers panoramic views, scenic hiking trails, and endless photo opportunities.
