East Sooke Regional Park
Follow the rugged Coast Trail on a private guided hike of approximately 10 km, taking in forested trails, dramatic coastal viewpoints, Beechy Head and the historic Trap Shack. Along the way, your guide will stop at favourite lookout areas for opportunities to spot bald eagles, whales and other wildlife, while sharing local history and insights into traditional Indigenous ways of living, travelling and making use of the surrounding land and coastline. Guests will experience changing coastal terrain, rocky sections and forest trails, with time for photos and scenic stops along the way. The full route is best suited to those with moderate hiking experience and a reasonable level of fitness. Wildlife sightings are possible but never guaranteed.
