Campbell River: Kayaking and Whale Watching Tour

Your adventure begins at our Float House in Campbell River. Here, you'll board our 12-passenger covered vessel, "Wild 1". This boat is perfectly equipped for a full-day expedition, featuring a heated indoor cabin, an onboard washroom, and an open-air, walk-around viewing deck for 360-degree views. Your certified naturalist guide will navigate to the Discovery Islands, a world-class kayaking destination known for its calm, sheltered waters and abundant wildlife. You'll launch your sea kayaks for a guided paddle. This is your chance to explore remote coastlines, getting views of colourful intertidal life and curious harbour seals. If you are lucky, you might even spot some whales in the distance. Following your paddle, you'll re-board the "Wild 1" for a delicious, included lunch with hot beverages and snacks. The second half of your day is a dedicated marine wildlife tour. We'll journey through the Salish Sea, searching for species like humpback whales, orcas (killer whales), Pacific white-sided dolphins, and Steller sea lions. Throughout the day, your guides will share deep knowledge of the ecosystem, wildlife behaviours, and local history.
