Levette Lake is a nice mountain lake located in the enormous Squamish Valley that drains the Squamish River into Howe Sound. There are some nice views and minimal elevation gain along the trail. The amazing Tantalus Range on a sunny day looks fantastic from the shores of Levette Lake. There is a nice campground on the shore of the lake that is well laid out and very rustic. The water temperature is not that cold so you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, or having a wonderful relaxing day along the beach enjoying your BBQ and more

Porteau Cove Provincial Park is a provincial park located along the eastern shore of Howe Sound in British Columbia, Canada. Situated along the Sea to Sky Highway, the park is 50 hectares in size and offers picnicking, camping, swimming, windsurfing, and a boat launch. Porteau Cove is a very popular area for scuba diving, with a series of artificial reefs including two sunken vessels.
