Meet outside the Castle Mountain Chalets at the picnic tables located at the junction of 1A & 93 South, half way between Banff and Lake Louise, where we will complete paperwork before convoying 15 minutes to the trailhead.
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
This is a half day hike in the Canadian Rockies in the more remote Kootenay National Park near the boundary of Banff National Park. Hike up a previously glaciated valley with towering cliffs and glaciers above, learn about the history, flora, fauna, ecology, geology and geography of this spectacular environment.
