Fairview Lawn Cemetery is a historic cemetery and the final resting place of 121 victims of the Titanic disaster. Most of the graves are marked with simple granite stones, and the site is visited by people from around the world to remember those who lost their lives in the 1912 tragedy. The cemetery also contains graves connected to other important events in Halifax’s history.
