We start with unique access to a historic building and local brewery to see, smell, taste and learn the basics of 4 seemingly simple ingredients that create over 100+ distinct styles of beer in the world. We'll enjoy 4 craft beer samples, one is a similar recipe to what beer tasted like centuries ago.

Mount Pleasant
As we enjoy a light walk through 'Brewery Creek', we'll visit 3 very different breweries in the neighbourhood, we'll dive into how the craft beer subculture was recently revived and why it's quickly gaining in popularity. Our beer tastings will include stories of popular American craft beers styles of today - many of the beers we taste are small batch, meaning they're only available in the local breweries we visit. No doubt we'll likely get into some healthy banter over which ones are the best. Whether you’re brand new craft beer or a veteran, you’re sure to enjoy these very local and very tasty alcoholic beverages and meeting the people who make it.

Visit one of Vancouver's original microbreweries. These folks are the grandaddies in the neighbourhood, brewing high quality, hand-crafted ales and lagers since 1997.
