Join us for a summer wildlife safari through the Canadian Rockies. Your guide chooses the route each day based on recent sightings and wildlife reports, taking you along quieter roads to promising viewing areas. Because wildlife activity changes daily, every tour is a little different.
Summer offers some of the best opportunities to spot bears, especially during the berry season, which typically peaks in July and August. You may also see elk, deer, bighorn sheep, eagles, and other native wildlife. Animals move freely, so sightings can never be guaranteed.
Travel in a comfortable vehicle as you explore mountain valleys, forest edges, and scenic roads. Along the way, your guide will share local knowledge about the animals, their habitats, and how the seasons shape their behaviour. We’ll stop for photos at scenic viewpoints and, when your guide decides it is safe, step outside to view wildlife. If we encounter a bear, everyone will remain inside the vehicle.
